The book presents the opportunities, issues and challenges under the Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act 7169). It also lays down proposed amendments to the Code from different sectors and the prospects of their approval in the Congress. The book is authored by Doc. Eddie Dorotan and Jay Carizo in 2014 and was made possible with the support of Galing Pook Foundation, the Union of Local authorities of the Philippines and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
